TL;DR: As more and more teams switch to using Aimly’s simple, fun and free online fundraising platform and our Goal Getter community grows, we wanted to take a moment to shed light on another way Aimly and its supporters are making a positive impact. At Aimly, we're not just about helping teams raise funds quickly and easily; we're also dedicated to fostering growth and empowerment within our local communities by volunteering and raising funds for local programs via our Aimly Thrive Project.

Last week, our CEO, Marques Zahir, and one of our passionate fundraising coaches, Jasmine Zahir, embarked on a mission to inspire and educate young minds in the home city of Aimly, Austin, Texas. Leading a hands-on junior investment and banking class, they delved into the exciting world of entrepreneurship, igniting sparks of curiosity and ambition in the hearts of local kids.

In today's rapidly evolving economy, understanding the fundamentals of banking and investment is more crucial than ever, especially for our youth. That's why, in addition to providing a platform for organizations to aim high and raise easily through fundraising online, Aimly is committed to providing opportunities for learning and growth out in the real world.

Thanks to the work of the Zahir family and supporters of the Aimly Thrive Project, young individuals are being equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the financial landscape confidently and successfully. Additionally, each participant in the session received $50.00 to put toward funding their dreams!

As a black-owned business, we are deeply invested in uplifting and empowering the black community. Our CEO and founder, Marques Zahir, is a truly inspiring role model for aspiring entrepreneurs and future leaders. His mother, Debbie Zahir, and sister, Jasmine Zahir, are also key Aimly team members and role models, working closely and passionately with the Aimly Goal Getter community as the Customer Success Team Manager and Business Development Manager &  Fundraising Coach, respectively.

Through initiatives assisted by the Aimly Thrive Project, in addition to Aimly’s free online fundraising platform, Marques and the Aimly team are dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating pathways to success for all individuals, regardless of background or circumstance.
